Bexley Bed and Breakfast Policies
The Bexley Bed and Breakfast is open year-round.
Check-in is at 4:00 p.m. We do our best to accommodate early check-ins when requested in advance. Late check-in is easy with our keyless electronic access. However, you must contact Lesli to make arrangements at least 24 hours in advance.
Check-out is at 11:00 a.m.
Housekeeping: For multi-day visits, we will tidy your rooms between 10:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. Mid-stay housekeeping is suspended during COVID. Trash placed outside the room door will be picked up. Linen replacement is available.
No smoking is permitted on the premises, either in the building or outside.
Though we do not provide the alcohol, drinking is permitted for those over 21 years of age.
Suitable for children 10 years and older, unless all five rooms will be booked under one family.
No childcare is provided.
No guest pets (and/or service animals) are permitted. We love them, but our bed and breakfast is not designed to meet their needs.
Our rates are for double occupancy and are subject to all applicable Ohio and local taxes.
Roll away beds are available for use by minors. Roll away beds are not suitable for use in Miami. There will be a $25 fee per night for each roll away.
Acceptable forms of payment are: VISA, MasterCard, Discover and personal checks (received at least 14 days prior to visit).
Deposit Required: The deposit is charged at the time that your reservation is made. For a two or more nights’ stay, the deposit is charged for the first two nights. For a one night stay, the deposit is charged for the cost of your stay.
Cancellations: We look forward to your stay. In a perfect world your trip will move forward as planned. However, the world is not perfect, and we understand that plans can go awry and cancellations are sometimes necessary. Unfortunately, cancellations are expensive to our small business.
50% refund if cancelled at least 1 week prior to scheduled check-in. No refund if cancelled within 7 days of check-in date.
For Example: If you are scheduled to arrive on a Thursday, your written cancellation request must be received no later than Thursday the week before. A request received on Friday the week before would forfeit any refund.
All cancellation requests must be in writing. Please remember that phone notifications still require follow up with an email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
In the event of a cancellation, we will make every attempt to re-book the room. If we are able to re-book the room, we will issue a refund. The refund will be your deposit minus a processing fee of $35.
Travel insurance is available for non-refundable travel costs such as airfare and lodging. Websites such as www.insuremytrip.com and www.travelinsurance.com provide side by side comparisons from multiple carriers. Cost of travel insurance typically ranges from 4% to 10% of total trip costs.
Damages: The registered guest will be charged for any damages, theft, and/or smoking in rooms.
